I have completed my high school education in visual arts in Katowice and received my degree in film directing from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice. My graduation film was the documentary “Hug Me Mum,” made under the artistic supervision of Andrzej Fidyk. I wrote my master’s thesis on “Working with Actors in Film” under the supervision of Jerzy Sthur. I directed several short films like ‘Hug me mum’,  ‘Gambit’, ‘Waiting For’, ‘Simon Python – an inner portrait’, and ‘To be the best’, which were featured at many film festivals (Munich Film Festival, Hannover, Huy, Mannheim – Heidelberg, Unimovie, Polish Film Festival, International Film Festival in Krakow) and received several awards and special mentions (a Special Mention at Sopot Film Festival, a Bronze Dragon at the International Film Festival “The Other Cinema” in Krakow, a special award for “the originality of film form” at The Optimistic Film Festival “Happy End” in Jelenia Góra,  “The Raftsman Award” at the  International Film Festival TOFIFEST in Toruń). Last year I directed a medium-length film based on Artur Pałyga’s play entitled “Sandwichman”. The film is waiting for its premiere.

Currently, together with screenwriter Ewa Bulanda we are preparing a film titled “The Show”, which will be my full-length feature debut. The film touches on important issues of solidarity between women and the challenges of a woman’s self-determination in the modern world. The film is currently in development, produced by the Documentary and Feature Film Studio in Warsaw (WFDiF).
